8am-12pm Visual/Drill (1st ten pages of Opener)
12pm-1pm Lunch (NO ONE LEAVES!)
1pm-4pm Music/Sectionals
4pm-6pm Break; Get Rest!
6pm-9pm Drill and Music (1st ten pages of Opener)
Tuesday, July 29th:
Same (next ten pages of Opener)
Wednesday, July 30th:
Same (Finish Opener; last ten pages!)
Thursday, July 31st:
Same (2nd Tune; 8 pages)
Friday, August 1st:
8am-12pm Rehearse on Clements Field
12pm-1pm Lunch
1pm-4pm Music/Sectionals/Possibly more marching at Clements—
but only if we get behind Schedule—help us stay on
schedule; memorize your music and spots!!!!!!!!
I am so excited to see you all on Monday!! Work hard, listen carefully to instructions, and take Pride in doing your absolute best! Ten pages of drill per day should be easy for this band, considering the good balance of returning and new members that we have. We have numerous goals in place to help us be a better band every year and Band Camp sets the tone for the rest of the season! Of course, don’t forget the essentials: SUNCREEN, WATER JUGS, HATS, T-SHIRTS INSTEAD OF TANK TOPS, COMFORTABLE LIGHTWEIGHT SUMMER APPAREL, TENNIS SHOES WITH SOCKS, NO SANDLES, NO BOOTS, ETC. HEALTHY MEALS, LOTS OF SLEEP AT NIGHT, REST WHEN WE GIVE YOU THE TIME!! Get there early on Monday so that you find everything you need! Looking forward to seeing you all!!!!!!!!!!!!
