It has been proposed to raise 2007-2008 Band Fees
Marching Band $200.00
Indoor Drumline $200.00
Winter Guard $250.00
This year there will be a new billing system
1. In May you will get your first statement. Your 1st payment will be $85.00. that will give your child a spot in marching band or guard. All past due band fees must be paid by then also. If you have more than one child in band, the second child will be half price. So your first payment will be $127.50 If you need help, we do have some scholarship money to help with the fees. But you must get a letter to Mr. Murphy as soon as possible ( not a phone call). These funds are limited.
2. Your second bill will be sent in June and monthly after that, with the final payment being made in September. these payments will be $38.00. The last payment will be $39.00. If your child's account is not current by band camp at the end of July, they will not be able to participate. Color Guard payments will differ, depending on what grade you are in.
3. If you are in Drumline or Winter Guard, then you have until the end of December to get your fees in. If your child is behind in marching season then they will not be able to participate in drumline or guard.
We are sorry to have to do this but it is the only way to make the budget. We cannot run behind like we have in the past. We have instructors that we have to pay, trucks to rent, and more uniforms to order. Operating a marching band is very expensive, especially with the threat of having to start paying for our buses hanging over our heads.
We will be doing fundraisers to help you with these costs, but to benefit from them you child must participate. We will be selling candles at the end of April, so tell your child to get an order sheet in the office. Your child will profit $4.00 for each candle sold. |
